What is an Art Party? Its a creative social event, where you make your own unique works of art with your friends and family in an art studio, with guidance from an artist, and a fun relaxed environment.
Each Art Party is a bespoke, guided, art experience. This is no paint and sip where everybody paints the same painting, it’s a creative, social event where you, your friends and/or family come together to make unique collaborative art, in an art studio, guided by an artist, amidst a fun, relaxed, environment - perfect for inspiring creativity.
Art Parties are a great a way for friends, families, colleagues, couples, etc. to unleash their creative spirits together, and create custom, unique, and collaborative works of art.

Art Parties come in two formats:

Large collaborative work - the group paints together on one medium/large scale canvas and completes a single unique piece of art (2-3 hour event)

Smaller individual works - each group member works on a smaller scale mixed media art work and each person can take home a unique piece of collaborative art (3-4 hour event)

Art Party FAQ
How much art experience do I/we need for this?
None! Everybody is creative and has creative ability, just some of us don't get the chance to express it. Art parties are a relaxed, fun social event where your inner creativity can be released. You'll have some basic and gentle initial guidance from an artist who will be on hand the entire time to answer any questions and/or help you if you get stuck.
When do we get to take our art home?
For groups working on one large canvas, we will hand deliver the piece a few days after the event. First, we need to let the canvas dry completely, then we will seal the art with a protective coating, and depending on the add ons you purchased we might clean up the canvas edges or frame the work. Once that is done we'll schedule delivery to your (local) location.
For groups that create individual pieces, after drying time, sealing, and any add-ons are completed, we'll reach out to the group and each person can schedule a time to pick their piece up from Studio 17. This also generally takes just a day or two.
What should we wear?
Wear anything you don't mind getting paint on!
Can I give an Art Party as a gift?
Yes! Art Parties make great gifts. Just use the form above and indicate you want to give the party as a gift, and we will work with you to create a unique gift card and help you with the parameters.
How much does an Art Party cost?
Pricing starts at $325 for 2-3 people creating a single collaborative work. Your pricing will depend on the size of your group, format of the party, painting size(s), and any additional add-ons or accommodations.
